The base loaded range of 27 MHz antennas (AE2007, AE2008 and AE220/221) are ‘ground dependent’ antennas that require fixing to a large metal surface. The AE2007 is a well-built  pre-tuned 27 MHz antenna with the stainless steel chrome base and the solid whip antenna.
