The QNM-98 is a small compact PTT (press to talk) Mobile Radio designed for quite vehicles – this radio works on the 3g mobile phone band. So basically works where your phone will work.

Key Features include:

• Low set-up cost
• Works on the 3G Mobile phone Network
• Low Monthly access chargers @ $35.00/radio/month
• External antenna can be connected for better performance (Standard antenna is internal)
• GPS option available at extra cost

Down sides:

• Low Audio output – So there fore designed for quite Vehicles such as Cars rather than trucks.
• Log on time delay – Once radio is turned on around 15sec delay
• Not suitable for Security or Mission Critical purposes
• Plugs into Cigarette lighter so power can be removed by user
• 3G only – new model coming shortly which will be 4G.
